Product Review: Garnier Fructis Moisture Rescue Refreshing Gel-Cream

As you guys know,  I recently purchased this moisturizer along with some other items at Wal Mart a couple weeks back...if you missed that post you can read it here.

I have had a chance to test this out so here's what I thought of it

What it is:

Refreshing, lightweight, oil-free gel cream facial moisturizer designed to lock in moisture for 24 hours.

Rock & Republic Contrived Pressed Blushes-Seduce & X-Rated

I have officially joined the Rock & Republic blush family! I have been lusting after these bad boys ever since Jen from From Head To Toe posted hers on her blog. Then I kept seeing all these sales for them on Hautelook but was always too broke at the time to buy anything. Well, thanks to Kalmo's post I was able to score two of them for only $18! Waaay cheaper than the usual $40 price tag per blush.

The best part about ordering them? The suuuuper fast shipping! I ordered these on the 11th and the shipping estimate was set for the 18th...lo and behold, imagine my surprise when they showed up on my doorstep the morning of the 13th! You cannot believe how happy I was when I saw that package; it's a good thing the mailman hadn't been there or else I would have jumped on him...but not really because I have a boyfriend and I'm not like that :P

The blushes arrived in a neatly packed box with each blush nestled inside another round shaped sturdy plastic box, like a gift box.

What's My Name Again?

Well, now you'll never have to ask me that again, thanks to this custom made name necklace that was so graciously offered to me courtesy of MyNameNecklace.com

Product Review: Milani Eye Tech Liquid Liner

Drugstore Concealer Reviews

e.l.f. Tone Correcting Concealer: This formula is a little too liquidy and sheer for me and doesn't provide enough coverage. It might be okay for those who only need minimal concealing, but for me this was a bust. The good things about it are that it is very inexpensive, doesn't feel dry or cakey, and is easy to apply because of the wand applicator.

Gel Liner Comparisons: Sonia Kashuk, MAC, and Maybelline

Wow, this post is long overdue, I planned on doing it months ago...I'm such a slacker. In any case, I'm finally getting around to it, so I hope you still enjoy it.

If you're anything like me, you have a hard time finding eyeliners that don't smudge, smear, or wear off. I myself am still on the hunt for the perfect pencil eyeliner, but in the meantime, I have been preferring gel liners. My skin seems to prefer their consistency over regular pencil liners, which I'm not really sure why, I don't have oily or dry lids....I don't even know if that really matters or not. Anyways, I know there are a lot of different brands of gel liners and I thought I would share 3 of the ones I've used and let you know what I think of them.

So here they are from left to right: Maybelline Eyestudio Lasting Drama Gel Liner in Blackest Black, MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack, and Sonia Kashuk Dramatically Defining Long Wear Gel Liner in Ebony

Product Review: E.L.F Studio Line Blushes

Even though everyone and their mothers have probably already seen and bought these, I thought I would do a proper review for those who haven't actually tried them yet. You guys have probably seen these in a few other haul posts I've done, but I haven't actually taken the time to do a full review, so here we go :)

What it is:

E.L.F. Studio Line Blushes

"The soft sheer texture blends into the skin for a silky finish. Designed to be worn alone or layered for more depth. Highlight your complexion with a subtle healthy glow!"

Product Revew: Maybelline The Falsies Mascara

I hate how easily persuable I am when it comes to makeup. As soon as someone mentions a product they like, especially Youtube gurus, I immediately want to run out and buy it! With that being said, I can't remember where I first saw this mascara reviewed, it was probably on Makeup Alley or someone's blog, all I know is I bought it the minute I spotted it at CVS.

What it is:

"Instant false glam in a tube
The Falsies Mascara delivers a false lash look; giving you a full set of voluminous, bold, fanned out lashes and the appearance of no gaps from any angle.
The Pro-Keratin and Fibre enriched formula is designed to deliver immediate results, distributing volume and visible intensity to your lashes. The patented ‘Spoon’ shaped brush helps fan lashes out.
The Falsies Mascara is designed to give the appearance of no gaps and spaces. In a wink lashes you didn’t even know you had look visibly thickened!"

Product Review: Ardell Brow Trim and Shape Razors

I've been meaning to review these for quite some time now, as I bought these over 2 months ago...I know, I'm so behind on my reviews!  :(  But I think I am finally able to catch up now, so there will probably be lots of reviews coming soon-yay!

I first spotted these at....CVS, I think? At first I didn't pay much attention to them because I didn't really want to shave my eyebrow area, but then Nymphette did a video I think and she totally sold me on them (she has a habit of doing that, she's such a bad influence! But in a good way :P)

So after I watched her video, I decided to try them, but as luck would have it, everytime I tried to find them they were sold out! I finally found them at Rite Aid for approximately $4.99 for a pack of 3.

Product Review: NYC Blushable Creme Stick Blushes

N.Y.C has recently come out with some new creme blushes which have been getting rave reviews lately. Which of course means that I had to try them myself. I got these awhile ago but I have been horrible at catching up on my reviews!

These are the new blushes, called Blushable Creme Sticks. The shades I
got were Big Apple Blush and South St. Seashell

Video Review: Favorite Drugstore Mascaras

Here's a review of some of my favorite drugstore mascaras (and a few that I don't like). I didn't have time to do a really thorough review of each one, so if there is one that you would like a more in depth review of, let me know!

P.S. The quality should improve hopefully, I just uploaded it. Is it just me or does Youtube change the colors of your videos and make them look kinda washed out?

Video Revier: Forever 21 Love & Beauty Makeup

Here's a video review of some products I've gotten from Forever 21's makeup line, Love & Beauty. You have probably seen a couple of them in previous posts but I didn't really review them. I didn't get too in depth with these reviews because my camera was going to die so I had to go quick, but if you want a more detailed review of a product, let me know!

Here are some swatches of the products, my camera would not take decent photos of them, so sorry for the quality of the pictures!

and this one, it wouldn't fit in the above picture :P

Enjoy the review! :)

Product Review: Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion in Eden

Okay this review has been a long time coming, I actually got this about a month or two ago, but I've been pretty lazy with my reviews lately, sorry! Like I said, I will be posting more reviews, etc, once school is over.

So I know this will shock most makeup addicts when I say this, but I have actually never used the original primer potion...or the Too Faced Shadow Insurance...or any eyeshadow primer to be honest. Wait, scratch that, I did test out one by Sally Hansen, but it didn't really seem to do much. So technically, this is my first eyeshadow primer. I guess I felt like I never really needed one before, but now that I've used one I can honestly say that it does help a lot to use one!

Product Review: Hard Candy Sheer Envy Tinted Moisturizer

Hey everyone, sorry I haven't posted or responded to comments in a couple days, my allergies have been getting the best of me, and even now as I write this the left side of my face is all puffy and swollen from watery eyes and a runny nose. But I'm attempting to suffer through it just for you guys :) Haha, if only you could see what I look like now, you wouldn't be complimenting my looks anymore! :P
So anyways, enough about me, let's get onto the review!
I'm going to be reviewing Hard Candy's Sheer Envy Tinted Moisturizer
This is how the website desribes it:
"Sheer Envy tinted moisturizer is a sheer, lightweight formula with a hint of color you can use in place of foundation for a natural finish and a healthy glowing complexion. With skin protecting SPF 15, the ultimate in anti-aging prevention. "

Cover Girl Lash Blast Fusion Review & Giveaway!

Yay, I was so excited when I got home and there was a package waiting for me, don't you just love when that happens?

And what was inside, you ask? (lol, you can probably already guess because of the title, but I like to add a little suspense :P)

The new Cover Girl Lashblast Fusion mascara that I had mentioned in my previous post! Yay! I had gone ahead and pre-ordered it on Cover Girl's Facebook  pre-sale that they had going on

Product Review: Sonia Kashuk Blending Sponge

Remember awhile back I told you how I purchased the Sonia Kashuk Blending Sponge? Well here is a picture of what it looks like to refresh your memories:

This sponge is a cheaper version of the infamous Beauty Blender sponge. For those of you who don't know what that is, here is a picture:

Hard Candy Product Reviews

Ever since I heard about Hard Candy being at Wal Mart I have not been able to stop looking at the products! Every time I go I always want to pick up something from their line. However, I currently only own four of their products, but will probably be purchasing more in the future.

Here are the products I own:

I actually wasn't planning on doing a product review yet, and if I had been, then there would have been other products I would review first, but seeing how much some of you girls are interested in this product and have done posts about them (see FacesbySarah and AdoreBeauty's posts) I thought I would review these for you :)

Okay, so first of all you'll notice that the packaging is different here than in other places. I'm not sure why companies do that? Anyways, I actually really like this packaging,  it looks really sleek and I like how the cover gives you an indication as to what shade is inside.
